Are the A pillar tweeters wired from the amp or directly from the radio on an 09 Traverse with the Bose system? I'm trying to diagnose a no sound issue and need to start ruling out things.
Thanks

The radio comes with six speakers, two tweeters, plus one in each door. Wiring is to the head unit. The Bose package adds four more speakers and an amp. Wiring for these speakers go to the amp and a cable from the amp connects to the radio.

Ok, so to be clear, all speakers in the Bose system get the power to run from the amp, meaning there are no speakers that run independently from the amp, correct? The signal for the sound to the speakers comes from the radio to the amp to be then distributed to all speakers, right?
I have a no sound issue in my Bose system and a new amp was just installed, it didn't solve my problem. Fuse was good and there is power at the fuse box. I will not test if there is a power from the radio to the amp. It's looking more and more like the radio is the issue.

I was recalling information from a wiring diagram I once saw but really don't have the knowledge to answer your specific question. I have added a link to a site where you can download a 2010 Enclave repair manual that should have all the wiring diagrams assuming you have a 2009-2017 model Traverse The radio wiring should be substantially the same. Hope this will be of some help.

Yup, those schematics answered my question, all speakers are driven by the amp. Thanks.
Now to find out why the amp isn't driving the speakers. More testing.

Problem solved / Tweeter Wiring - Bose system
Looks like the problem is solved. It turned out to be a fuse box problem. For anyone else that is trying to diagnose a no sound issue after installing a new amp, go here: https://www.acadiaforum.net/22-prob...dio-turn-signals-14.html#/topics/6311?page=14
You find instructions on what to do with the fuse box. This also fixed my no rear wiper problem.
Thanks everyone for your help, especially the schematics that were posted. Let's see how long these electrical gremlins stay away.
